Here’s the process.
01. SUBMIT AN INQURY

02. SCHEDULE A FREE 20-MIN PHONE CALL
Let's get to know each other before we work together! During our call, we’ll talk in more detail about what your needs are.
03. RECEIVE AN ESTIMATE
After we learn more about what your business needs, we'll send an estimate for services within 2 business days. We'll itemize what's included, how much it will cost, and our availability for project kickoff. Our estimates are good for 30 days after issue.
04. ACCEPT ESTIMATE AND SELECT PROJECT START DATE
When you're ready to move forward, accept the estimate and select your desired project launch date. Keep in mind that our available slots are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
05. PAY INVOICE AND SIGN CONTRACT
We'll send an invoice, due upon receipt, and a contract ("Design Services Agreement") which can be signed electronically.
Payment Policy. Half of the total estimated cost is due to reserve your space on our calendar. This is non-refundable. The remaining half and any extra costs associated will be due prior to website launch and file delivery. Anything beyond contracted revisions or out of project scope will be billed at the hourly rate. We accept checks and ACH payments. If a credit card is preferred, we add a 3% fee.
06. FOR WEBSITES: START YOUR HOMEWORK
We generally book 2 months in advance, so this the perfect time to prepare your content for project launch! We’ll send you a link to your Brand and Website Homework so you'll have plenty of time to get your ducks in a row before we begin. Your content will be due 2 weeks prior to launch.
Photography. We have high standards when it comes to photography. Your photos should be high-quality, with a consistent style that help paint a greater picture of your brand. If you don't have very high quality photos, we recommend engaging a photographer in your area. If you're based in the Ithaca, NY, we have some local recommendations. Alternatively, we recommend buying stock photos from Stocksy or 500px. If you need help with photo selection, Stock Photo Curation is available as an add-on to your services and can be discussed.
Copywriting. We don't write or edit copy, so if you need help with brand voice development, we encourage you to hire a copywriter. This can make ALL the difference in creating the fabulous website we want you to have! We also have local recommendations. You may also consider looking for one on Fiverr or Upwork.
07. WEB CONTENT IS DUE 2 WEEKS BEFORE PROJECT START.
Your Brand and Website Homework will be due 2 weeks before our scheduled launch date. At that point, we'll do an internal review to quality-check and ensure everything is ready for us to begin!

TWO WEEKS before project launch

WEEK ONE - BRAND FOCUS
At the beginning of the week, we have a 30-min phone or video call with you to walk through your Brand Questionnaire answers. Our goal is to learn more about your business and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. By the end of the call, you’ll feel more confident that we really understand you and your business.
Next, we curate font options for your logotype. At the end of the week, we present two different options that speak to your brand, then you get to pick your favorite. We then typeset your chosen logotype.
WEEK TWO - BRAND FOCUS
We present your brand board in two different color options. The brand board includes your logotype, font guide, and business card design. You pick your preferred color, we save the vector logo files; print-ready business card PDF; and a printable brand style sheet — and send them to you in one zipped file.
WEEK THREE - WEB FOCUS
At the beginning of the week, we have a 30-min phone or video call with you to walk through your Web Questionnaire answers as well as the copy and photos provided. We’ll spend the rest of the week building your site and send a preview.
WEEK FOUR - WEB FOCUS
You’ll spend time interacting with your site, compile a list of revisions and submit them to us. At the end of the week, we’ll have one more call to walk you through your site, how to update it, and answer your questions. We’ll then launch your site!
